Over 3,000 dancers from across Ireland, the UK and as far a field as Europe, America, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand will tap their toes all the way to the INEC, Killarney for the All-Ireland Irish Dancing Championships from February 19th - 27th.
The All-Ireland Irish Dancing Championships is an annual event that aims to recognise world-wide talent and dedication to one of Ireland’s best loved cultural heritages and past times.
With group and solo competitions open to all members of
An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha
from the ages of nine upwards, this contest attracts a great deal of industry attention and has been attended in the past by Michael Flatley.
The Championships attract a large international delegation because of the prestige associated with winning an All-Ireland medal, it is also the last opportunity to qualify for the World Irish Dancing Championships.
