Shayne Ward burst back onto the scene last year with his Top 10 hit single Gotta Be Somebody, the first release from his third album Obsession.

After touring with his second album in 2008 Shayne knew he needed to take himself out of the game if he was to really craft himself as the popstar he had the potential to be. Signed to Simon Cowell’s behemoth record label Syco, Shayne spent months in talks about the direction his career should go in next.

One listen to his new material – the infectiousness of first single Gotta Be Somebody, the powerful crescendos in album track Obsession, and vocals bursting with confidence in Foolish and there’s no doubt he’s found his rightful place in pop society.
