We are pleased to announce early details of a major new music festival taking place this summer in the world famous town of Killarney, Co Kerry … So major is it, in fact, that Moving Hearts are getting together for it!
FolkFest Killarney at the INEC will be Ireland’s largest celebration of people’s music from Ireland and beyond, bursting forth from four different stages over three thrilling days.
Whether it’s a headline-grabbing come-back of a legendary supergroup, a long-overdue visit of major international artists, or the confident performances of young rising stars, all the acts will have in common one vital impulse: a desire to keep spirits high from dusk till dawn.
Tinariwen, Moving Hearts & special Guests, The Unthanks, Liam O'Flynn w/ Micheal O'Suilleabhain, Paddy Glackin & Neil Martin, Martin Hayes with Iarla O'Lionaird, Sharon Shannon, Julie Fowlis, Danu, Mairtin O'Connor Trio, Riona & Matt Griffin, Fiddlers' Bid, Luka Bloom, Begley and Cooney, Kila, Catriona McKay and Chris Stout, Aldoc, Moxie, Lumiere, Tim Eriksen, New Road, Koshka, The Whileaways, Brian O'Leary and Friends, Outdoor Céilí with The Tulla Céilí Band, Druce and Jones, The Lost Brothers + more acts to be announced.
With all performances and an artisan food village, visitors will find themselves having to fit in their appreciation of the world famous scenery, hospitality and outdoor pursuits during the day!
And, yes, it is true, you’re eyes do not deceive you: Moving Hearts will be performing a one-off concert featuring Donal Lunny, Davy Spillane, Keith Donald, Noel Eccles, Anto Drennan, Liam Bradley, Eoghan O’Neill, Graham Henderson and very special surprise guests.

HOW TO GET HERE
The INEC is located on the Muckross Road (N71), The event centre is on the left hand side approx 1km from Killarney town centre.
From Cork take the N22 to Killarney, on reaching Killarney follow signs for Muckross Road N71 the INEC is on the left hand side approx 1km from Killarney town centre (approx 1hr 15min).
From Kerry airport, take the N22 towards Killarney & follow signs for the Muckross Road - N71 as above (approx 20min).
From Shannon airport, take the N18 to Limerick, take the N21 to Castleisland, then take the N22 to Killarney and follow the signs for the Muckross Road N71 as above (approx 2hr).
From Dublin, take the M7 signposted Limerick, take the N21 to Castleisland, then take the N22 to Killarney and follow the signs for the Muckross Road N71 as above (approx 2hr).

Dublin airport provides significant international access to Killarney via Kerry airport but also through its connections with Cork and Shannon airports.
Killarney is on the Dublin-Tralee railway route and the trip from Dublin takes approximately 3.5 hours. Irish Rail, the national rail company, provides daily train services to and from Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway. The train station is located approximately one mile from the INEC.
